1. Who We Are

​

Welcome to Unscripted Genius™ (“we,” “us,” “our”). We provide improv-driven coaching, workshops, corporate trainings, digital content, and assorted moments of spontaneous joy (collectively, the “Services”) through www.unscriptedgenius.com (the “Site”). When we say “you,” we mean any visitor, student, client, or curious cat poking around this domain.

2. Accepting These Terms

​

By accessing the Site or purchasing/attending any Service, you’re giving a hearty “Yes, And” to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), our [Privacy Policy], and any other policies posted here. If you don’t agree, feel free to politely exit stage left.

3. Eligibility

​

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase, enroll in coaching, or hand us your credit-card digits. Younger improvisers can join live or virtual classes only with verifiable parental consent.

 

4. Booking, Payments & Cancellations

​

• Payment Methods. We accept major credit cards and any other methods listed at checkout. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

• Billing. You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your selected method for the total displayed, including any taxes.

• Cancellations/Reschedules.

  • Workshops & Classes: Full refund up to 14 days before the scheduled start. Fifty-percent refund up to 7 days prior. No refund within 7 days, but we’ll happily transfer your spot to a friend or move you to the next cohort if space allows.

  • 1-to-1 Coaching: Reschedule free with 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled inside 24 hours are forfeited.

  • Corporate Programs: Governed by the proposal or engagement letter we sign together.

• Digital Products / Downloads. All sales are final once the download link is delivered.​

 

5. Intellectual Property

​

Everything on this Site—videos, blog posts, exercises, curriculum materials, witty asides—belongs to Unscripted Genius™ unless otherwise credited. That includes our trademarks (“Unscripted Genius,” “Wit Happens,” and accompanying logos). You’re welcome to:

1. Read, watch, and enjoy,

2. Quote brief excerpts with attribution,

3. Share links with your team or Grandma.

 

You’re not allowed to republish, modify, sell, or distribute our content without written permission. If you want to license a game, workshop outline, or custom curriculum, let’s talk.

 

6. User Conduct

By using the Site or attending an event, you agree to:

​

• Treat instructors, fellow students, and staff with respect—onstage, offstage, and online.

• Abstain from hate speech, harassment, or other buzz-killing behavior.

• Refrain from recording sessions or distributing class materials without permission.
  Violation may result in removal from class or termination of your account, without refund.

 

7. No Professional, Therapeutic, or Legal Advice

We coach improv. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or psychological conditions; we’re not your CPA, attorney, or therapist. Content is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Always consult the appropriate professional for advice that affects your health, finances, or legal standing.

8. Assumption of Risk

​

Improv is generally low-impact, but you might move, stretch, kneel, or laugh hard enough to snort. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks (including—gasp—social embarrassment) and release us from liability for injuries or damages stemming from your participation, except where prohibited by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

​

We provide the Site and Services “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Basically: we’ll work our butts off to deliver value, but we can’t promise your life will change overnight or that the Site will be glitch-free 24/7.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed under Florida law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months preceding the claim. We won’t be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages—no matter how dramatic the scene.

 

11. Indemnification

​

If your use of the Site or your behavior during an event lands us in hot water (for example, copyright trouble or a lawsuit), you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from all related claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees).

 

12. Third-Party Links

​

We sometimes link to external resources or partner platforms. We have no control over their content or policies, so click at your own discretion.

 

13. Modifications to Terms or Services

​

Just like a good improv set, things evolve. We may update these Terms or the Services at any time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes equals acceptance.

 

14. Governing Law & Venue

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Severability

​​

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will stay in effect, and the unenforceable part will be replaced by an enforceable provision that most closely matches the original intent.

 

16. Entire Agreement

​​

These Terms, plus any additional written agreements we sign (for example, a corporate training contract), constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede all prior understandings.
